Ok, I’m going to be honest and say I had no clue who this doll was based upon and if I continue to be honest, I still haven’t got the foggiest. I assume she is from a TV programme on Nickelodeon but we’ve never seen it…
Anyway, based on this I had little faith that Scarlett would enjoy this product but by some bizarre twist of fate, she did. I personally can’t see the attraction – you get the doll, a tiny microphone and a necklace. Neither the necklace or the mic stay on particularly well either (which is why they are missing from the picture). The doll itself doesn’t do a massive amount, if you lift her arm to her mouth she sings a few lines from a song. Just one song. Over and over and over and over. The other arm, when lifted, makes the sound of a crowd cheering. Over and over and over and over.
Safe to say, it drove me crackers but the girls seem to like it and the song is catchy (it would be after hearing it repeatedly for hours surely?), it was more of a novelty item though and has soon been relegated in favour of other toys.
I’m sure this doll would entertain fans of the show but as we’ve never seen it this doll felt like a very
annoying one trick pony.
