Melissa and Doug Paint with Water Review

Firstly let me start by mentioning this is an amazing price for what you get, we are so impressed that we are going to buy them to bulk up presents for the age approproate children in our family this christmas! They costs £3.99 and there are 20 pictures to paint in each pad with individual little paints at the top of each picture.

Isobella was very eager to get statrted and pulled the page out a little to quickly which ripped the page a little but it was only at the top part so still paintable! Again we could not persuade Alfie to get involved (he is much more into imaginative play than getting messy with paints).

The pad also comes with a little paint brush – it is a shame that there is not a little pouch somewhere on the cover for this but still you can’t moan at the cost of it!

The paints are dry and need quite a lot of working to get going and they give more of a watery colour than a thick paint. Isobella did get a little frustrated at times as the paint does dry very quickly so she had to keep wetting it and working the paints to get enough, however she did enjoy it and couldn’t wait to do it again the next day!

Great price – and just incase you haven’t grasped we are amazed by the price, its such good value! And should keep and child occupied for a while!!
