Easter Crafts Round Up

Easter is one of our favourite times of the year. We love the chance to spend some quality time with the kids, making Easter crafts, organising Easter egg hunts – and of course, eating copious amounts of chocolate!

This year, we ran a fun Easter crafts competition, and a whopping 150 of you entered with some amazing Easter designs made by your kids. We thought we’d share a few of our favourite entries, in case you’re in need of a little inspiration to get the kids crafting next year!

Superhero eggs

Superhero eggs

We’re huge comic book fans here at Toys R Us, so we love these cure superhero eggs sent in by Caroline from Roehampton. All you need to recreate Batman, Superman and Spiderman at home is some brightly coloured paint and a little bit of glitter!

Olaf egg

Olaf egg

This awesome Frozen-inspired egg was created by Simon and family from Birkby, Huddersfield. We love how creative they’ve been in their use of two eggs to create Olaf’s body and head. Frozen fans are bound to want to recreate this great egg themselves next Easter!

Shaun the Sheep egg

Shaun the sheep egg

We love Shaun the Sheep here at Toys R Us, and so does Jim and family from Tonbridge, Kent, who sent in this cute Shaun the Sheep egg. It’s really simple to recreate at home, but we loved the originality of the design.

Angry Birds egg

Don’t these Angry Birds Easter eggs look just like the real thing? Zoe and her family from Sheffield, are clearly massive fans of the game – and talented painters, to design such realistic looking eggs!

My Little Pony eggs

My Little Pony eggs

We love these beautiful, sparkly My Little Pony eggs, sent in by Helen from Gomersal, West Yorkshire. Her family have really captured the magical qualities of these two cuties – these eggs are two we’re definitely going to try ourselves next year!
