Dino Bite Game Review

I’m Laura from Yummy Mummy Flabby Tummy and this is our fifth review from our third toyologist box. Today we’re reviewing Dino Bite from Drumond Park which is available to buy from Toys R Us and price details can be checked there too.

What is Dino Bite? This is a fun family game that is suitable for ages 4+ and for 2-4 players. The game requires 2 AA batteries which are not included however we received our Duracell batteries for the purposes of the review. The idea of the game is to not let the Mummy T-Rex catch you pinching her baby T-Rex eggs out of her nest (well that’s how we played it!) or to save the Dino-baby eggs from the rampaging T-Rex!

What do you get in the box? There are 20 dino-baby eggs in red, yellow, blue and green, a pair of tweezers, a die, the log nest and a T-Rex dinosaur.

How do you play? Once the batteries are inserted, you set the Mummy T-Rex on her log and pull her back to “set” her. All the dino-baby eggs are placed under the leaf which covers the nest. You are then ready to play.
Here is a video of us playing the game:

I loved the suspense of not knowing when the T-Rex was going to “attack”. The game is so easy to play, even Miss C at the age of 3 could join in.

Any drawbacks to the game? We couldn’t find anything we didn’t like about this game.

Would I recommend Dino Bite to a friend? Yes I would. It’s pretty evenly priced with other games out there and it really is a lot of fun. It is easy to set up and the kids really enjoyed playing it.

We give this a big 10/10
